The Catty Shack

Most of our cats reside in a building called the “Catty Shack”. The Catty Shack is a cage-free environment with two spacious rooms and an enclosed catio. Cats are able to roam freely. The rooms are heated and air conditioned to keep our kitties comfortable. Their favorite area though is the catio where they enjoy fresh air and sunshine. Typically 20 to 25 cats are housed in the Catty Shack.

Cats Available For Adoption

Click on each cat for more info. All our adopted cats are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee is $100–all of which goes toward the care of our cats. If you’d like to meet a cat or get more info use the contact form at the bottom of each cat’s page.

  • I was turned in as a stray kitten with my mom and littermates. One of the nice ladies at Freedom Fences fostered us until we could be with the other cats. I was born with a special tail. It's really short and has a little twist to it, like a corkscrew.  That's why they call me Corky. I'm a little shy at first, but love to be petted once I get to know someone. • I came to Freedom Fences as a feral kitten with my littermates Sassy, Maizie, Mitzi and Milo. I've come a long way since I first got here. I'm a petite girl. I’m affectionate and love attention, and I’m not shy about letting you know! Be sure to check out my other pics. I’m a bit of a poser.

  • I was a stray living outside for quite a while, and some nice person brought me here. I'm a lovebug and also like to play a lot with toys. I'm heartworm positive, but am doing well on my medication. Click on my picture to see more photos.

  • I came to Freedom Fences as a feral kitten with my littermates Maizie, Noodles, Mitzi and Milo. I'm a "dilute calico" which means my calico colors are paler than normal. I hear that's a little unusual, so I guess I'm special! I love attention and also have some spunkiness to me. Click on my picture to see more photos.

  • I came to Freedom Fences as a kitten with feline infectious peritonitis.  It was very expensive to treat me, but the good folks here took care of all that.    I'm cured now and doing great.I have some special litter box needs you can ask the people here about. I'm friendly and am a big fan of laps.
