Sweet Tootie is looking for a soft place to live out his golden years.He’s 8 years old and was adopted as a kitten when his previous owner’s husband passed away . He was her constant companion and best friend and helped her cope tremendously after her loss .
Unfortunately, she recently had to be moved to assisted living and
Tootie was not able to go.During his most recent checkup, it was discovered that he was diabetic. At first, he was put on special food and did great, but then it was decided that insulin would be the best course of action for him to manage his diabetes by his vet
.
He takes his shots like a champ, and in fact when it’s time, he walks up ready to get his little insulin shot no issues at all except maybe a head bump or two.
Tootie’s ideal place would be in a quieter home . He would be fine with another cat or two and doesn’t even mind a dog.For more info, email [email protected].
